Presentación en el congreso Innovation Match en la Ciudad de México
El pasado 01 – 03 de junio, distintos miembros del capítulo Barcelona acudieron a la Ciudad de México para el encuentro «Innovation Match», el cual resulto ser una extraordinaria oportunidad para compartir con otros mexicanos que están emprendiendo, trabajando o investigando en el extranjero. Se discutieron temas como energías renovables, innovación, industrias creativas, políticas públicas, etc. El coordinador de Emprendimiento, Cristian Granados, presentó una ponencia sobre el sector de los videojuegos mobiles. Específicamente sobre el crecimiento de este sector en Barcelona, ciudad que se está convirtiendo, en parte por el efecto arrastre del Mobile World Congress, en un Hub europeo para las empresas digitales y muy especialmente para la industria de los video juegos móviles. Distintas 
organizaciones como el Instituto Catalan de las Empresas Culturales (ICEC), el cual ofrece subvenciones ventajosas para pequeños estudios, o la incubadora «GamesBCN», están impulsando este sector.
Dentro de la misma sesión, otros miembros de la Red Global de Mexicanos, como Carolina Islas e Itzel Moreno del capitulo Finlandia y Barcelona, respectivamente, presentaron interesantes proyectos relacionados con la industria de los video juegos.
